Montana Brown sizzles in a lemon printed two-piece in the balmy Maldives

She has recently defended her ‘work trip’ after touching down in the Maldives this week, amid England’s Covid-19 four-week lockdown and a nationwide travel ban.

And Montana Brown has been quick to flood her Instagram page with sizzling bikini-clad snaps on as she begins shooting for her Swim Society collection.

The Love Island star, 25, flaunted her toned physique in a lemon printed two-piece from her self-designed, sustainable collection at the stunning resort on Saturday.

She protected her face from the scorching sunshine with a wide brimmed straw hat as she posed on a deckchair while taking a quick break on the beach.

The stunner let her golden tresses fall across her shoulders in a loose wave as she showed off her bronzed figure in the sun-kissed Instagram snap.

She opted for a natural-looking make-up palette as she showcased the crystal clear sea views behind her, much to the envy of her 1.3million Instagram fans.

Alongside the gorgeous snaps, she simply captioned: ‘squeeze the day [lemon emoji]’

But Montana seemed determined to reiterate that the lavish trip was for business as she shared clips on her Instagram stories detailing her busy day of shooting.

The TV personality has been joined by Love Island’s Samira Mighty, singer Mahalia, and model Joann Van Den Herik for the balmy Maldives excursion.

Earlier this week, she had warned fans that ‘spam’ would be incoming from the enviable trip as she prepared to show off slinky looks from her collection.

And on Friday, Montana shared a selection of snaps alongside Mahalia, 22, as the pair twinned in blue two-pieces from the sustainable swimwear line.

She bragged that it was a ‘tough life’ in an Instagram stories video as she soaked up the sunshine during the first day of shooting at the resort.

The group had previously shared hoards of pictures and videos as they went through the airport and on the plane, while Montana also complained of feeling ‘pooped’.

Amid furore over reality stars and influencers jetting abroad amid the coronavirus pandemic, Montana defended her trip in an impassioned YouTube video, insisting she was being ‘very careful’.

Quashing concerns she was flouting rules, a spokesperson for Montana previously said: ‘Montana is in the Maldives for work purposes shooting her campaign for her company Swim Society.

‘This is allowed under government guidelines.’

Montana is currently shooting images for her sustainable swimwear, which she launched last year and is all made from recycled material.

COVID-19 rules currently stipulate that travelling outside the country is banned unless for business or education.

In the video shared ahead of the trip, Montana joined her business partner in explaining: ‘Everybody has been isolating, I’m not going out.

‘The quarantine coming back from the Maldives has been lifted.’

Montana went on: ‘We’re being very careful. We don’t want people to think we’re being sneaky, it’s is an influencer trip but we’re not being sneaky.

‘I can’t take a picture out in the garden with the leaves, I can’t put my wellies on.’

She then revealed they are using a company called More Trees to offset their carbon footprint and give back by planting trees.

They explained: ‘We’re trying to be sustainable and be accessible. Something else we’re doing which is amazing.

‘We’re going to the Maldives and we are going by plane – we’re not swimming there…

‘We’re using a company that offset your carbon footprint. He calculates how much we’ll be omitting and gifts us the trees.’
