The Project host Susie Youssef reveals this major DJ is ‘so much fun’

EXCLUSIVE: The Project’s Susie Youssef reveals the best guest she’s ever interviewed on the show and what co-hosts Waleed Aly and Carrie Bickmore REALLY think about each other

She has interviewed everyone from the likes of reality stars to A-listers. 

But on Monday, The Project’s Susie Youssef revealed that DJ Mark Ronson is her favourite guest on the show. 

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia at the AACTA Awards, the television presenter said that he is ‘so much fun’ and ‘cheeky’.

‘I think Mark Ronson was one of the highlights, we had so much fun and it was a very cheeky interview,’ she said.

‘But we have been very lucky across the board, [with guests]’.  

Mark, 44, appeared on the program in 2019 to promote his album Late Night Feelings.

Meanwhile, Susie also revealed that some of her other favourite guests, including her ‘personal hero’, comedian Maria Bamford, and Australian rock band The Teskey Brothers. 

‘[The Teskey Brothers] have risen to this incredible international fame while we have been doing the show and I completely love their music,’ she added.  

As for what Susie really thinks of her Project co-hosts, the panelist admits that they all ‘adore each other’.

‘I totally love them, the hardest thing in TV is to find a dynamic that works and we are so lucky that we just adore each other,’ she added. 

Susie has had a hugely varied career working as a writer, and stand-up comedian before joining The Project in 2019. 

And on Monday, Susie teamed up with Project producer, Rove Rove McManus to host the AACTA Film Awards on Monday.
