Matt Damon and Chris Hemsworth flew from Byron Bay to Sydney on Sunday night.
The Hollywood actors shared a private jet as they travelled to the New South Wales capital for a week of filming upcoming Marvel blockbuster Thor: Love and Thunder.
The Damon family only recently completed their private quarantine in a $7,000-a-night mansion near the trendy coastal town.

Production on Thor: Love and Thunder began on January 26 at Fox Studios, but this appears to be the first time Damon has flown to Sydney to shoot scenes.
Damon, 50, and his wife, Luciana Barossa, 45, were the first A-list guests to disembark the private plane.

The Damons had arrived in Australia last month and immediately moved into an Airbnb mansion, where they served out their 14 days of mandatory quarantine.
In lieu of staying in a quarantine hotel, the family paid for their own private security, police monitoring, hospital-grade cleaning, staff, meals and regular medical checks.

The modern-day cheateu they stayed at costs $7,000 per night to rent, meaning they would have spent about $90,000 on accommodation alone.
While many visiting stars have kept quiet about the quarantine process, Matt’s immigration lawyer explained every detail of the Damon’s move Down Under.
Rebekah O’Sullivan said her client had ‘privately arranged and funded’ his two-week quarantine with his wife and children so as not to create ‘any burden to the Australian taxpayer whatsoever’.
