Schapelle Corby is eliminated from Dancing With The Stars

Schapelle Corby was sent packing on Tuesday’s episode of Dancing With The Stars.

After placing in the bottom two alongside Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson, the show’s judges ultimately opted to eliminate Schapelle, 43. 

Despite starting out strong in the competition, Schapelle failed to wow the show’s judges with her version of the jive. 

But despite enjoying her short-lived stint on the hit reality show, Schapelle confessed she was ready to hang up her dance shoes.

‘Personally, you’ve been a delight, Schapelle, you really have. Do you think you’ll keep dancing, Schapelle?’ asked host Sonia Kruger.

‘No,’ she responded without hesitation, prompting laughter from the judges and audience, ‘It has been so incredibly hard.’ 

Meanwhile, fans had mixed feelings about Schapelle’s elimination from the Channel Seven dance show.

Some claimed it was her time to go, while others wondered why she’d been cast on the show to begin with.  

‘That’s too bad because Schapelle did improve. #DancingAU But I think she really was struggling,’ commented on viewer.

Added another: ‘I’m still unsure about Schapelle being on this show I know she’s done her time but she not a star’.

But others claimed she was ripped off and ‘deserved to stay’, labelling her elimination ‘outrageous’. 

‘Give credit where it’s due, Schapelle did really well. That’s a TOUGH dance,’ tweeted one fan, while another wrote, ‘Schapelle is the only reason I’m watching this bulls**t’.
