Martha Kalifatidis trolls her Big Brother star mum Mary for wearing makeup while vacuuming

Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis’ mother Mary is currently starring on the new series of Big Brother.

And on Wednesday, the cheeky 32-year-old decided to troll her mum relentlessly after she ‘got glam’ to do the housework amid her new-found reality TV fame.

‘You’re so glam now you’re on Big Brother!’ Martha, 32, quipped to her mum in a video. ‘Do you wear makeup to vacuum? Oh my God, now that you’re a celeb!’

Hilarious! Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis made fun of her mum Mary for developing a celebrity diva complex after appearing on Big Brother

Martha then ran up to her mum, who furiously pointed the hoover tube at her daughter in rage.

‘F**k off, Martha!’ Mary bit back.

Indeed, Mary has caused quite the stir on Big Brother this season – only recently playing a hilarious prank on her housemates.

Mary snuck in several hats with rude Greek sayings, and tricked a handful of her housemates into wearing them on television.

On Monday, Nicholas Benton was made aware of the prank and addressed his embarrassing predicament on Instagram.

‘Hey Nick, I have a cool hat for you to wear. It means “legend” in Greek,’ he captioned a photo of Mary looking mischievous on the show.

He then shared a gallery of photos of himself wearing the Savvas Says ‘Malaka!’ hats in the Big Brother house, and revealed what the word actually meant.

Mary’s daughter Martha commented on Nick’s post, ‘Hahah I’m actually convulsing in laughter,’ while her boyfriend Michael Brunelli added, ‘Mary always wins!’

However, Mary clarified to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday that her housemates were in fact in on the joke – even though Nicholas implied he wasn’t.

‘When everyone saw my hats they asked what malaka means. I told them it’s a Greek slang word for w**ker,’ she said.

‘So after I told them the meaning everyone wanted to wear them. They would say “Mary, can I wear your malaka hat?” Funny how everyone wanted to be a malaka!’

‘I thought most of Australia won’t know the meaning, only the Greeks will know and laugh,’ she added.

Meanwhile, Mary has been wearing a hat with the saying ‘Re!’, which is Greek slang for ‘you’. It’s also an introductory response or way of expressing attention, like ‘hey’.

Mary and Sarah Jane ‘SJ’ Adams were involved in a double elimination on Tuesday – but all was not as it seemed.

Big Brother whisked them away to a secret attic where they remained safe from eviction as part of ‘Surprise Week’.

The pair returned to the competition by jumping out of a large cake on Wednesday night’s episode, shocking their housemates in the process.
