Country singer Jimmie Allen marries nurse Alexis Gale after postponing wedding amid pandemic

Country singer Jimmie Allen has married his nurse fiancee Alexis Gale after postponing their wedding amid the pandemic.

The 34-year-old crooner has been engaged to Alexis since 2019 and they were finally able to tie the knot Thursday, People reported.

Their platinum blonde actress friend Sabina Gadecki also posted some updates from the ceremony to her Insta Stories that day.

Sabina included a romantic picture of herself at the site of the outdoor ceremony cuddling up to her sizzling country singer husband Tyler Rich.

Another one of her pictures showed the elaborate flower arrangements that had been set up near the outdoor seating. 

Several white chairs were arranged on an immaculate grassy lawn that featured a stone path down the middle.

Sabina also posted a photo booth picture and revealed the guest list included Darius Rucker as well as Chuck Wicks and his wife Kasi.

Jimmie, who has a son called Aadyn, 7, from a previous relationship, also welcomed a baby girl called Naomi with Alexis in March of last year.

Alexis and Jimmie had been together for only a few months when he proposed to her during a trip to Disney World in Florida.

Although they had been hoping for a 2020 wedding Jimmie revealed in July that they had delayed the nuptials to this year.

‘Yeah, we pushed it back to next year, so I’m excited about that. Hopefully, it’ll all be good,’ he dished to People magazine.

Alexis and Jimmie grew up in the same town of Milton, Delaware but only met a couple of years ago when his cousin-in-law introduced them.

Jimmie told People early in the relationship: ‘With Alexis being from my hometown, it is like always having a piece of home with me. We had an immediate connection. It was like we’d always known each other.’
