Brittany Hockley finally leaves ‘Wimbledon bubble’ to explore London with Jordan Thompson

No lockdown for her! Brittany Hockley finally leaves her ‘Wimbledon bubble’ to explore London with her tennis pro boyfriend Jordan Thompson as he crashes out of the competition

She’s been isolated in the ‘Wimbledon bubble’ as she helps out her tennis pro boyfriend Jordan Thompson with ‘tournament logistics’ while he’s on tour.

But Bachelorette star Brittany Hockley and her beau were able to finally leave their bubble in London on Sunday, after Jordan crashed out of the third round to Belarusian Ilya Ivashka.

Following the loss, the loved-up couple enjoyed a brief stroll around the capital to console themselves before ‘flying out’ to another location.

‘One afternoon out of the bubble before flying out. Went for a nice walk. I used to live here, and I miss it,’ Brittany captioned a video of a squirrel.

The pair then posed sweetly in front of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, both beaming as they cosied up to one another in cosy jumpers.

With Jordan leaving the competition he no longer has to abide by the ‘Wimbledon bubble’, in which players and their family stay together – and are unable to leave their hotel – until they are knocked out of the competition.

Speaking after his defeat on Sunday, Jordan said: ‘If someone had told me I’d qualify for the third round of Wimbledon, I’d definitely have taken that.

‘Beating the players I beat in the first two rounds (world No.14 Casper Ruud and Japanese star Kei Nishikori), I’ve taken a lot of confidence out of it.’

Meanwhile, Brittany flew over to see her beau for work purposes in June.

The pair had been in a long-distance relationship, due to being unable to travel amid the coronavirus pandemic and with the subsequent restrictions.

But she was able to fly over to help out with tournament logistics and is also recording her podcast, Life Uncut, overseas.

‘He needed someone to help him out with tournament logistics, so I put my hand up,’ she said.

She insisted it was not a fun holiday with her man, instead spending the majority of time in hotels while he plays tennis.
