Another 314 people have died from Covid in English hospitals bringing total to 44,126, statistics show
- The figures are almost identical to those of last Saturday, when 315 people died
- However, they are up on yesterday’s tally of 275 coronavirus deaths in hospital
- All except 11, aged between 63 and 93, had known underlying health conditions
A further 314 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died in hospital in England, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in hospitals to 44,126.
The NHS England statistics are almost identical to those seen last Saturday, when 315 people died, but up on yesterday’s tally of 275.
Patients were aged between 38 and 102. All except 11, aged between 63 and 93, had known underlying health conditions.

The deaths were between November 7 and December 11.
Thirteen other deaths were reported with no positive Covid-19 test result.
