Armed police rush to arrest two men who ‘threw something over wall’ of Saudi Ambassador’s official London residence ‘that set fire to front’ of multi-million-pound Kensington building

Armed police rushed to arrest two men outside the Saudi Ambassador’s official resident in London today. 

Witnesses said one of the men threw an object over the wall, which set some of the bushes in front of the multi-million pound building in Kensington Palace Gardens on fire.  

Two men were seen being handcuffed and led away by officers.  

The London Fire Brigade said:  

We were called to bushes alight at 13.42. It was under control by 13.50. No injury. One fire engine
