James Corden shows off his incredible weight loss in loose fitting tracksuit on a coffee run

He recently revealed he has lost ‘just over 35lbs’ (2.5 stone) with the help of WW – formerly WeightWatchers.

And James Corden showcased his incredible weight loss in a tracksuit as he grabbed an iced coffee from independent cafe The Good Life in north London on Friday.

The presenter, 42, looked in great shape as he cut a casual figure walking along the street sipping on his drink.

He paired the oversized tracksuit jumper and joggers with a pair of grey Yeezy trainers, retailing at around £180.

Earlier this month James, despite his impressive weightloss, admitted that he ‘absolutely hates working out’.

Speaking on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, he detailed how when he gets time off work he just wants to be ‘laying down’ not breaking a sweat and going to the gym.

When asked how he’s feeling, James said: ‘I feel like I’m getting better. I’m trying, but I feel like there’s still a way to go.. I’ve lost just over 35lbs’.

Howard then asked if the Late Late Show host is working out, with James admitting that he’s not a fan of hitting the gym in his free time.

He explained: ‘I’m trying to, but I suck at it. I’m so bad at it. It’s terrible. There are so few hours in the day that are just my own, do you know what I mean?

‘I’ve got three young kids. We have the show and all these things. I feel like, “Hang on a minute. I’ve got an hour here where I’m on my own, and I’m doing something that I absolutely hate”. I should just be laying down.’

James also joked that he isn’t keen on using personal trainers, saying: ‘I don’t trust them. I don’t think they want me to lose weight quickly’.

The star continued to explained that he’d ‘burned through’ roughly 75 of them before concluding getting paid by the hour made them disinterested in rapid results.

James has often spoken about his weight, revealing in the New Year that he has signed up to a health and fitness programme to help shift the conversation around wellness.

He said on WW’s (Weight Watchers) Facebook: ‘I want to change the way that I live. I want to be better for my children and for my family.

‘I don’t want to wake up tired, or feel embarrassed when I’m chasing my son on the soccer field and out of breath after three minutes.’

Back in 2017 James shed six stone in weight and found major success in Hollywood, however he has also admitted the one food that he can’t stop eating is bread.

Elsewhere in the interview with Howard, James discussed having Oprah Winfrey’s number and calling her impromptu during the Late Late Show.

The star explained that he saved the icon’s number a while back and forgot about it entirely before calling her up on his show.

Although the conversation went well, James wondered if he had invaded Oprah’s privacy. He said he considered killing the bit, but then Oprah reached back out.

‘She sent a text going, “That was hilarious”,’ he recalled.

It comes after James and his team team revealed on Friday that Prince Harry, 36, had offered for years to ‘do something’ for his show.

James was the first to get an interview with the Duke of Sussex after his move to the US, airing days before his and Meghan Markle’s shockwave interview with Oprah.

In a wide-ranging chat released in February, the Duke of Sussex – or ‘Haz,’ as Corden called him – revealed he went from ‘zero to sixty’ with Meghan and how the pressures of living in London were ‘destroying my mental health.’

Corden elicited bombshells from the Duke, including the insistence that he ‘never walked away’ from the royal family and he did ‘what any husband or father would do’ by emigrating to Los Angeles.

The Hollywood Reporter told how producer Ben Winston said: ‘[Harry] said, “We’re coming out of lockdown, I’m in L.A., do you think we should plan something fun to almost cheer everybody up in a way”.’

The Howard Stern Show airs on SiriusXM channel Howard 100 and is broadcast live Mondays – Wednesdays starting at 7:00 am ET. The full show is also available on the SiriusXM app.
